Mark Moran
Mark Moran is Chief Executive of Hydrate for Health Ltd a company set up in 2007 as a result of Mark having great difficulty in easily getting a drink whilst in hospital following a serious back operation.
After researching the issue of dehydration and understanding the scale and tragic impact of this avoidable issue, Mark became passionate about improving hydration standards in the healthcare sector. He gave up a high paid corporate role in Ford Motor Company to invent the Hydrant.
After 8 years trying unsuccessfully to get it made available on prescription he has now set up The Hydration Foundation, a Community Interest Company specifically created to enable him to seek philanthropic funding to be able to deliver free Hydrants to the individuals in the community who need them.
